Goecke
Marco Goeckeは、1988年よりミュンヘンのハインツ・ボスル財団バレエアカデミー、およびハーグ王立音楽院でバレエ教育を受け、1995年に同校を卒業しました。その後、ベルリン国立歌劇場、ハーゲン劇場での契約を経て、2000年にハーゲン劇場にて自身初の振付作品を発表しました。以降、シュトゥットガルト・バレエ団のダンサーによるノヴェール協会での作品や、ニューヨーク・コレオグラフィック・インスティテュートからの招聘による作品を創作。2003年には、シュトゥットガルト・バレエ団によって上演された作品『Blushing』で、ハンブルクのPrix Dom Pérignonを受賞しました。
その後、Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo、ノルウェー国立バレエ、シアトルのPacific Northwest Ballet、ベルリン国立バレエなど、国際的なカンパニーから数多くの委嘱を受けました。2005/06シーズンよりシュトゥットガルト・バレエ団のハウス・コレオグラファーに就任し、同団で自身初の物語バレエ『Nussknacker』を創作。同作品は後に映像化もされました。2006年から2012年まではScapino Ballet Rotterdamのハウス・コレオグラファーを務め、2013/14シーズンよりNederlands Dans Theater（NDT）のアソシエイト・コレオグラファーを務めています。2019年から2023年までは、バレエディレクターとしてStaatsballett Hannoverを率い、同時にGauthier Danceのアーティスト・イン・レジデンスも務めました。
これまでに創作した約100作品の多くは、世界各地の著名なカンパニーによって上演されています。Goeckeは、Nijinsky Award、オランダのダンス賞Zwaan、Deutscher Tanzpreis、Jiří-Kylián-Ringなど、数多くの国際的な賞を受賞しています。
2025年夏より、Marco GoeckeはBallett Baselの芸術監督およびハウス・コレオグラファーを務めており、シーズンごとに同カンパニーのための新作を創作しています。
Marco Goecke | Choreographer
Marco Goecke began his ballet training in 1988 at the Ballet Academy of the Heinz Bosl Foundation in Munich and at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague, where he received his diploma in 1995. He subsequently joined the Staatsoper Berlin and Theater Hagen. It was at Theater Hagen that he created his first choreography in 2000. Further works followed for the Noverre Society with dancers of the Stuttgart Ballet, as well as through an invitation from the New York Choreographic Institute. In 2003, Goecke won the Prix Dom Pérignon in Hamburg with Blushing, performed by the Stuttgart Ballet.
He went on to receive numerous commissions from international companies, including Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo, the Norwegian National Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet in Seattle, and Staatsballett Berlin. From the 2005/06 season, he became in-house choreographer of the Stuttgart Ballet, where he created Nussknacker, his first narrative ballet, which was later also adapted for film. From 2006 to 2012, he was in-house choreographer at Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, and since the 2013/14 season he has been Associate Choreographer at Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT). From 2019 to 2023, he led Staatsballett Hannover as Ballet Director, while also serving as Artist in Residence at Gauthier Dance.
Many of his nearly one hundred works are staged by renowned companies around the world. Goecke has received numerous international awards, including the Nijinsky Award, the Dutch dance prize Zwaan, the German Dance Award, and the Jiří-Kylián-Ring.
Since summer 2025, Marco Goecke has been Artistic Director and in-house choreographer of Ballett Basel, creating a world premiere with his ensemble each season.

Marco Goecke erhielt seine Ballettausbildung ab 1988 an der Ballettakademie der Heinz-Bosl-Stiftung München sowie am Königlichen Konservatorium Den Haag, wo er 1995 diplomierte. Engagements führten ihn an die Staatsoper Berlin und an das Theater Hagen, wo er 2000 seine erste Choreographie schuf. Internationale Aufmerksamkeit erlangte er mit Arbeiten für die Noverre-Gesellschaft Stuttgart und durch eine Einladung an das New York Choreographic Institute. 2003 gewann er mit «Blushing» den Prix Dom Pérignon in Hamburg.
Es folgten Aufträge für renommierte Compagnien wie Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo, das Norwegische Nationalballett, das Pacific Northwest Ballet Seattle und das Staatsballett Berlin. Von 2005 bis 2018 war Goecke Hauschoreograph des Stuttgarter Balletts, von 2006 bis 2012 beim Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, seit 2013 ist er Associate Choreographer des Nederlands Dans Theater. Von 2019 bis 2023 leitete er als Ballettdirektor das Staatsballett Hannover. Seit Sommer 2025 ist Marco Goecke Künstlerischer Leiter und Hauschoreograph des Ballett Basel.
Seine Werke werden weltweit von führenden Compagnien einstudiert. Zu seinen Auszeichnungen zählen u. a. der Nijinsky Award, der Niederländische Tanzpreis Zwaan, der Deutsche Tanzpreis sowie der Jiří-Kylián-Ring.

Ihsan Rustemはロンドン生まれ。Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Danceで学びました。
2020年、Cathy Marstonとともにスイスのダンスカンパニー Cie. La Ronde を共同設立し、2025年まで同カンパニーを率いました。2015年から2025年までは、米国オレゴン州ポートランドの NW Dance Project のレジデント・コレオグラファーを務め、2010年以降、同カンパニーのために14作品を創作しています。
これまでに60作品以上を創作しており、Nederlands Dans Theater 2、Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal、São Paulo City Ballet、West Australian Ballet、National Ballet of Chile、Hubbard Street Dance Chicago 2、Zurich Ballet など、数多くの国際的なカンパニーから委嘱を受けています。
Nederlands Dans Theaterは、2018/19シーズンにRustemを「Up & Coming Choreographers」の一人に選出しました。
彼の作品は数々の賞を受賞しています。『State of Matter』は、2012年のSadler’s Wells Global Dance Contestで優勝し、第25回International Competition for Choreographers Hannoverでは観客賞を受賞しました。『Carmen』は、Dance Magazineの2017年Readers’ Choice AwardにおいてBest Collaborationを受賞しました。またRustemは、2014年にHubbard Street Dance ChicagoのInternational Commissioning Projectにも選出されています。
2000年から2014年にかけては、Ballet Theater Munich、Introdans、Bern Ballet、Tanz Luzerner Theater、Adventures in Motion Picturesでダンサーとして活動しました。Wayne McGregor、Hofesh Shechter、Alexander Ekman、Matthew Bourne、Patrick Delcroix、Cathy Marstonらの作品で初演キャストを務めたほか、Mats Ek、Jiří Kylián、Paul Lightfoot & Sol León、Hans van Manen、William Forsytheをはじめとする振付家たちとも仕事をしています。
また、Prix de Lausanne、Concorso Internazionale di Danza Città di Rieti、Dance World Cupなど、権威あるコンクールの審査員も務めています。さらに、スイスのSteps Festivalではプログラム・チームのキュレーターを務め、チューリッヒ芸術大学のチューリッヒ・ダンス・アカデミーで教師も務めています。
Ihsan Rustem was born in London, where he trained at the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance.
In 2020, he co-founded the Swiss dance company Cie. La Ronde with Cathy Marston, which he led until 2025. From 2015 to 2025, he was Resident Choreographer for the NW Dance Project in Portland, Oregon, creating 14 works for the company since 2010.
With over 60 creations to date, Rustem’s choreography has been commissioned by an extensive list of international companies, including: Nederlands Dans Theater 2, Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal, São Paulo City Ballet, West Australian Ballet, National Ballet of Chile, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago 2, Zurich Ballet amongst others.
Nederlands Dans Theater named Rustem as one of their Up & Coming Choreographers for the 2018/19 season.
His work has been recognised with numerous accolades. State of Matter won the 2012 Sadler’s Wells Global Dance Contest, as well as the Public Prize at the 25th International Competition for Choreographers Hannover. Carmen received Dance Magazine’s 2017 Readers’ Choice Award for Best Collaboration. Rustem was also the 2014 recipient of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago’s International Commissioning Project.
From 2000 to 2014, he danced with the Ballet Theater Munich, Introdans, Bern Ballet, Tanz Luzerner Theater, and Adventures in Motion Pictures. He originated roles in works by Wayne McGregor, Hofesh Shechter, Alexander Ekman, Matthew Bourne, Patrick Delcroix, Cathy Marston, and worked with Mats Ek, Jiří Kylián, Paul Lightfoot & Sol León, Hans van Manen, and William Forsythe, among others.
He has served on the jury of prestigious competitions including the Prix de Lausanne Concorso Internazionale di Danza Città di Rieti, and the Dance World Cup. Additionally, he is a Programme Team curator for Switzerland’s Steps Festival and is a teacher of the Tanz Akademie Zurich at the Zurich University of the Arts.
